I love making salad dressings from scratch. They are super easy and fast to make, you get to use fresh and real ingredients, and they can take a salad from ‘meh’ to ‘marvellous!’
This is one of my favourite dressing recipes and it goes very well with my Simple Kale Salad. It’s creamy, garlicky and delicious!
Garlic is such a great addition to your everyday diet. It has so many benefits, including cholesterol lowering, antioxidative and cardioprotective effects. It is also a great remedy for a cold or flu as it has antibacterial and antiviral properties. (Phyllis A. Balch, 163 – 164)
In addition to all these great benefits, as we all know, garlic is also very tasty, making it a great addition to many dishes. It’s an all-round winner!
Creamy Garlic Dressing
Yield: ½ cup
Prep time: 10 minutes
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon raw honey
1 pinch sea salt
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon organic Dijon mustard
1. Place all ingredients in a Mason jar and shake.
