It’s no secret that the food you’re eating will have a direct effect on your mood, how you function, and your appearance. Therefore, it’s crucial to take a look at the fuel that you are giving yourself each day, so that you can feel as good as possible both inside and out. A little of what you fancy will always do you good, so you don’t have to say goodbye to ice cream forever (it’s not about being mean to yourself). It’s vital that you’re kind to your brain and overall being by hopping into bed at a reasonable hour each night, and doing everything you can to get a restful sleep.

Turn off your phone at least half an hour before you head into the bedroom (don’t panic; Instagram will still be there in the morning). The blue light that screens emit is detrimental to your brain being able to calm down and switch off, so set your alarm, and be brave; gently turn your phone over and don’t look at it again until the morning. Keep investing in your self care with little daily steps, and you’ll begin to notice the benefits in no time.
