Here are the health benefits of three main ingredients of this particular soothing, moisturizing salve. (Recipe follows.)
Jasmine is great for dry skin, as it acts as a moisturizer and also has an additional benefit – it doesn’t clog pores.

Coconut oil is a valuable source of vitamin E, which acts to protect the skin from dryness and cracking. It’s a moisturizing marvel!
Dry Skin-Soothing Salve
The purpose of the salve is to help relieve itchy, uncomfortable and irritating symptoms of dry skin.
3 jasmine tea bags (remove herb from bag)
¼ cup olive oil
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 tablespoon avocado oil
1 tablespoon lanolin
5 drops lavender essential oil
5 drops rose absolute oil
1. Place the jasmine herbs from the tea bags in a small pot and add the olive oil, coconut oil, and avocado oil. Gently warm over low heat. Once warm, turn off heat and let stand for 20 minutes.
2. Once the herbs are warm, pour them through a double layer of cheesecloth or a nut milk bag and squeeze gently to get out all the remaining oil. Mix that oil with the lanolin and essential oils.
3. Pour into a glass jar with an airtight lid and allow it to set. Add the lid once it has cooled. Store in cool place or in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.
